Windows Vista x86 installation... BSOD!

Ok, I am being a little adventurous with the installation and I am getting a BSOD during first part of the installation. The thing is that I am not sure what and where to look.
Here is the system specs I am trying to install Vista to. ===== AMD 2200XP, 1 gig ram 80 gig - PROMISE RAID TX2000 Nvidia Quadro FX 500 Asus A7V8X Adaptec SCSI card 29160 PLextor SCSI CD Burner Pioneer DVD-Rom / Sony 8x DVD Burner =====
anything really wrong with the config!? might it be the RAID drivers?
The array is showing as an 8mb partition... can't resize or reformat from Vista.
Thanks.

anyone here that can help me!? I still didn't get any response...

if it bsods pretty soon after boot (0-2 mins) then yeah the raid drivers are good guess.
if it's late in setup then windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log <<-- last 20 lines can sometimes help if setup bsods or hangs
